About Mr. Ramirez

Mr. Ramirez created and still building this online ESL classroom because he sees how much his students want to learn English. He learned English as a second language himself more than forty years ago. Back then, he did not have the technology to make learning fast and easy. Today, however, we have incredible tools that help you learn much more efficiently. He is still creating more lessons based on what the students need.

With nearly fifty years of experience as a schoolteacher, and since 2009 teaching ESL only, Mr. Ramirez knows how to make learning fun, easy, and fast. His approach builds the language from the ground up, helping you establish a strong foundation. He believes you can learn enough English for simple conversations in just three months.

Why This Method Works

Many learners find English difficult when they do not understand how learning actually happens. To learn a language, you must practice in ways similar to how you learned your first language. Listen, repeat, and read! By focusing on natural practice—hearing and using English in context—you build understanding and confidence quickly.

On this site, you will find exercises that focus on different aspects of language learning: listening, repeating, speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar. Try to understand how a language is learned and recall how you learned your first language. This “natural process” approach is often the fastest and easiest way to progress.
